DESCRIPTION:The IASB in recent years have introduced significant changes that affect financial statements materially. These include IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, IFRS 16 Leases, IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts and the new Conceptual Framework. Furthermore, IFRS 9 and IFRS 15 will be effective for reporting periods starting on or after 1 January 2018.
