Section 12 J Specialist

Join Jonty as he discusses the structuring of investments through a Section 12J Venture Capital Company (VCC).

Overview

It would be a mistake for South African taxpayers who want to invest in local industry not to structure their investments through a Section 12J Venture Capital Company (VCC), in terms of the Income Tax Act, as they are significantly incentivised with tax deductions of up to 45% for individuals, funds and trusts and 28% for companies.

In this webinar Jonty Sacks will discuss how important it for an investor to partner with and informed firm that understands the legislation and regulations governing VCCs thoroughly and have the know-how on structuring arrangements. If they do not, then investors can run into serious challenges.
