SA Accounting Academy was incorporated during February 2007 as a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training provider for accountants, auditors, bookkeepers, and company secretaries.

Training offered by the Academy is compliant with the International Education Standard (IES7) issued by the International Federation of Accountants and recognised for CPD by relevant professional bodies including ACCA, CIMA, IAC, IIA, SAIBA, SAICA and SAIPA.

We also offer in-house / onsite training on our technical and business-related topics.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) / Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is how you develop and maintain your professional competence to perform your role. SA Accounting Academy content assists you to achieve this. All our content is designed specifically for the accounting profession and put together by experts in their respective fields. We take pride in delivering high quality content.

Input-Based Approach CPD / CPE

Some professional bodies require members to demonstrated this by completing a specified amount of learning and development activities recorded by a number of hours, units or points. You will get a completion certificate as evidence, and this will be recorded in your online training logbook.

Output-Based Approach CPD / CPE

Some professional bodies require members to demonstrated this by achieving learning outcomes. You will need to complete an assessment and you will get a certificate as evidence, and this will be recorded in your online training logbook.

B-BBEE

SAAA is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor, with 125% procurement recognition. Training spend on certain solutions can be allocated against the Skills Development element of the B-BBEE Scorecard through accredited and nonaccredited training or claimed through SETA grants. In addition, 25% of your Skills Expenditure can now be on non-accredited training or courses.
