About the presenter

Lizl Budhram

As the Head of Advice, Lizl is tasked with the development of advice strategy, processes and enablers. She also contributes to instilling a Market Conduct/TCF culture, as well as FAIS license enablement and maintenance of financial advisers.

Lizl currently acts as an examiner and part time lecturer on the Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning qualification at two universities. She also serves as non-executive director on the Board of the Financial Services Exchange (Astute). Her qualifications include LLB and MBA degrees as well as an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. She is in the process of becoming a certified Integral Coach.

Steven Kruger

Steven holds an Honours Degree in Human Resources from UNISA. He completed his Certificate in Financial Planning during 2006 and was licensed by FSCA as PFA Key Individual for Old Mutual South Africa. He completed a Masters Class in Channel Distribution Economics from INSEAD Business School of the world in France during 2014. He joined Old Mutual in 1990 and has been employed in various roles at Old Mutual since then. He was Area Manager and RGM for 10 Years. He was the PFA for 8 years in Gauteng, the largest Tied Distribution channel in South Africa from all competitors.

Steven represents Gauteng on the Exco and is a decision maker on the Gauteng Board for Provincial Collaboration Matters. He is a keen Blue Bulls and Man United Supporter, loves winning and believes he can win at anything he puts his mind to. He loves to associate himself with positive people.
