Overview

All companies require directors to govern and manage the affairs of the entity. There must be a minimum of one director serving on the board of private unlisted companies at all times unless the MOI provides otherwise, Section 66(2-3).

With the exception of incorporators who are automatically the first directors of a company by virtue of Section 67(1), a person taking up office as a director must be appointed or elected to that office; and must deliver to the company a consent to serve as a director.

With InfoDocs, recording changes to directors and creating the required supporting documents is easier than ever before. You can view current directors according to CIPC and in less than 5 minutes submit new appointments or resignations to CIPC from the dashboard. With InfoDocs, you can make changes to the board, create the required resolutions and consent or termination letters in half the time!

Join Christie Hollander, Company Secretary at InfoDocs, on 25 November 2020 from 13:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. as she demonstrates how to record director changes in half the time with InfoDocs, saving you time and helping you make more money.
