The IASB changed the accounting treatment of leases to be applied by the lessee. The distinction between an ‘operating’ lease and a ‘finance’ lease (from the point of view of the lessee), no longer exists (for most leases). It is important that lessees account for leases correctly in terms of the new IFRS 16 Leases.
Gain full and practical understanding on the treatment of leases by attending this webinar which is part of two series of webinars which we are currently running. One series focuses on IFRS and the other one focuses on IFRS for SMEs. Both series will be presented by well-known IFRS and IFRS for SMEs expert Anton van Wyk M.Com, CA(SA).
