Every day hundreds of people apply for business visas and work permits from the Department of Home Affairs. However, business visas and work permits can only be approved if a licenced immigration accountant has performed a factual findings report on financial information related to the application.
BAP(SA)s and other professional accountants are allowed to issue reports for visa applicants if they have passed the SAIBA Practising Licence in Immigration Engagements. SAIBA is an accredited professional body in terms of section 14(1) and (2) of the Immigration Act of 2002 and regulations. During this webinar, Gerhard Stols will explain the process involved in performing a factual findings report and what the practising licence in immigration engagements entails.
