Valuation is a process where the economic worth of an asset or company is determined as guided by the International Valuation Standards Council's International Valuation Standards.  

The ability to evaluate risk and future benefits has been complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Understanding current drivers of risk and other valuation factors is crucial, now more than ever, in order to be able to effectively deliver value to our clients in this area of service. The demand for business valuation services has increased as small business owners and professionals operate in recovery mode.

Obtaining your CPD certificate   

This training is compliant with the International Education Standard (IES7) issued by the International Federation of Accountants and recognised for CPD by relevant professional bodies including ACCA, CIMA, IAC, IIA, SAIBA, SAICA and SAIPA.

About the presenter  

Nestene Botha CA(SA) 

Nestene Botha completed her B.com (Hons) at North West University in 2012. In 2014 she completed her professional articles and her Masters Degree in Chartered Accountancy. She then registered with SAICA as a Chartered Accountant in 2015. 

Nestene has lectured on the audit programme at the University of Cape Town. She started her own audit, tax & accounting practice which she has since grown into a reputable firm in the Tableview area with 60 clients and two staff members.
