About the presenter

Will Dutton

Coming from an entrepreneurship background in the Hospitality sector, Will built a coffee chain brand in South Africa called vida e caffè. He took the business from 3 stores to 180+ stores internationally in 12 years.

Will has a passion for building businesses and empowering the people involved to grow. Joining the PI team at the beginning of 2020 as head of partnerships in South Africa, Will is excited to be a part of PI growth in the region.

Colin Timms

After registering with SAIPA as a professional accountant in 2004, Colin started a traditional accounting practice, which he ran for 8 years.

In 2011, he founded South Africa’s first cloud accounting practice, Real Time Accounting which went on to become one of the fastest growing emerging market cloud accounting firms with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Colin worked with BDO in 2016, before being appointed by Xero as South Africa Country Manager. He is widely regarded as an expert in cloud accounting best practices.

Colin is married to 1 wife, has 3 children, has completed 5 Iron Man events, 12 Comrades marathons, and is passionate about helping thousands of South African accountants and their clients to thrive.

Willem Haarhoff (Co-Founder of Doughgetters)

Willem qualified as a Chartered Accountant a few months after the whole world had thought that the computers will switch off the lights. Fortunately, this never happened and so he was able to complete 20 rewarding years at one of the Big 4 Accounting firms. He spent the last 11 of those 20 years as an expatriate in Lagos, Nigeria gaining invaluable experience and knowledge about how to develop, drive and execute business strategy. During this time, he was supported by his valuable team of approximately 100 accounting professionals in providing high quality assurance services to numerous subsidiaries of large listed

multinational companies.

Willem returned to South Africa in 2014 doing some freelance work and in 2017 he co-founded DoughGetters

Accounting™ with his current partner, Murray Barnetson. Together they seek to play a leading role in shaping the future of accounting in South Africa and the rest of the world. In March 2020 DoughGetters Accounting™ was awarded Emerging Firm of the Year by Xero South Africa.
