This Work Readiness Bootcamp aims to give you those important life skills while honing out your technical skills at the same time. We cover topics such as Life-long Learning, Interactive Communication, Professional Skills, Managing your Personal Finances, Computer Basics, Fundamentals of Accounting, and Computerised Accounting Online.

Delivery
The course is delivered through the SA Accounting Academy online learning platform. It is divided into 15 modules that are easily digestible. In this way you can maintain a work-life balance whilst studying and improving your professional skills. The required effort is 4 to 8 hours per week.
Lecturers
Charmaine Nadasan
Charmaine is a facilitator for various learning programmes. She left the Banking sector after obtaining ten years retail credit experience to pursue her dream of owning her own business. With another ten years experience gained as a franchisee of two businesses she developed a passion for training. She thereafter completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education to pursue a career in the Education and training field.
Charmaine has since worked as an academy manager for 6 years and is currently a registered assessor and moderator for banking and management qualifications and unit standards with various SETA's.
Innocent Shongedza
Innocent has more than 12 years industry experience in various finance and accounting roles. During the past 10 years Innocent has moved into the training space where he facilitated on work-readiness programs for thousands of accounting and finance graduates. He is an assessor and moderator registered with various SETAs where he assesses and moderates accounting and finance qualifications. Innocent also trains QuickBooks Online as well as Sage Pastel.
Prerequisites / Admission Requirements
Anyone can attend this course. There are no minimum entry requirements.
Assessments
Your assessments will be in the form of exercises and activities that you will need to complete during the training.
Assessment and Certification
Successful completion (i.e. completion of all modules) of this course will lead learners to be awarded with a certificate of completion.
