The subject of death is not easy to face especially when it involves people who are close to us.
Corporate entities are juristic persons and they have lifecycles. At some point in time, your business or your clients' businesses may face death due to operational difficulties or other reasons.
In this webinar we deal with whether to save a dying business (Business Rescue) or put the final nail in its coffin (Liquidation). We will look at the challenges around business rescue and the overview of the process and where the law stands regarding insolvency.
The Back to Basics Companies Act Series with our technical expert Caryn Maitland CA(SA, is designed for the accountant who is just starting out, as well as the practitioner that wants a refresher course on the Companies Act and how it has settled down into the South African corporate landscape. It is structured into bite-sized pieces that are topic related and designed to give an overview and insight into the Act and its day-to-day practical application.
Join Caryn Maitland CA(SA) on 3 September 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 13:30 a.m.as she discusses business rescue and liquidation. These topics are very important especially now when many businesses are in financial distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
