This Practice Management webinar session on “The Code of Ethics, Quality Control and NOCLAR” forms part of a series of presentations on practice management for small and medium practices based on IFAC’s Practice Manual for SMP’s. These webinars are aimed at all accounting practitioners and practice owners/ managers who want to improve the running of their practices in order to increase productivity and profitability. 

The accounting and auditing profession is under increased scrutiny by parliament, regulators, professional bodies and the media. It is of great importance that accounting and auditing practitioners follow a code of ethics, adhere to strict quality control in their practices, and are fully aware of NOCLAR In this short webinar join Caryn Maitland as she presents on these important aspects of successful practice management.

  • Quality control for practices performing audits, reviews of financial statements and other agreed upon procedures.

About the presenter

Caryn Maitland

Caryn Maitland is a Chartered Accountant (SA). She has been a member of IRBA as a registered auditor and accountant since 2002 and is also a registered member of SAICA.

Caryn has lectured Auditing and Accounting at various institutions and has conducted independent workshops and seminars for professional accountants since 2006 on various topics. 

Caryn has presented on the national tour for the annual Legislation Update with ProBeta Training (Pty) Ltd in 2014 and 2015, as well as on the FASSET national tour for the Tax Administration Act in 2014.  She is also involved with the annual SAICA SMP Technical tour.


CPD
