Overview

Professional behaviour is an all-encompassing concept that covers one's interactions with fellow colleagues, customers as well as leadership. It also gives guidance on how one performs their duties.

The cornerstone of every accounting practitioner's professional behaviour is their professional body's Code of Professional Conduct. Therefore, all professional bodies make it compulsory for their members to follow the Code of Professional Conduct. Oftentimes as professionals, the biggest tension and root of the many dilemmas we face is trying to balance professionalism with commercialism. The Code of Professional Conduct is our go-to document that helps to ensure we deal with these dilemmas correctly and maintain our professionalism.

Join us in our collaboration with Caryn Maitland CA(SA) as we present a 4-part ethics series

that dissects the subject of ethics for the accounting practitioner. Caryn presents this final instalment on 28 September 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
