Overview
The B-BBEE Commission is investigating many entities for violation of the B-BBEE Act relating to B-BBEE ownership structures and non-compliance with the Codes of Good Practice in respect of the verification process. Prevalent is the issue of fronting and non-compliance with the implementation of employee trusts.
It is important to note that entities found guilty may be fined up to 10% of their annual turnover while individuals can be fined or be imprisoned for up to 10 years. Guilty entities can also be barred from doing business with the government and SOCs.
Attend this webinar and get fully informed about how to effectively help your clients to tick the right boxes on the B-BBEE scorecard and offer advisory services that fall within the scope of the law. B-BBEE expert Yugen Pillay will take you through the documents and verification processes that will guide you towards becoming an expert yourself.
