A Practical approach to Drafting Financial Statements (Full IFRS)

Presenters : Nestene Botha CA(SA)

Overview

Accounting professionals tasked with reporting on behalf of entities that adhere to the comprehensive International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) must be exceptionally well-versed in these regulations. Their expertise needs to surpass that which is required for the simplified IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), due to the complexity and breadth of full IFRS.

On 25 May 2023, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) announced modifications to IAS 7 and IFRS 7 concerning Supplier Finance Arrangements, introducing new disclosure requirements. These requirements mandate that entities disclose both qualitative and quantitative details about their supplier finance arrangements. The amendments are set to take effect from 1 January 2024.

This webinar aims to shed light on these recent amendments to IFRS and provide a refresher on its scope and practical application. We invite you to join Nestene Botha CA(SA) for a comprehensive 2-hour session essential for every accounting professional engaged with full IFRS.
