About this Course
This comprehensive 7-module course is designed to elevate proficiency in conducting Independent Reviews in accordance with the International Standard on Review Engagements (ISRE) 2400. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the entire independent review process, including accepting the engagement, planning, performing procedures, evaluating evidence, forming a conclusion, and reporting. The course empowers you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in performing high-quality independent reviews that meet international standards.

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and application of ISRE 2400, enhancing professional capabilities.

Course Delivery, Duration, and Effort
SA Accounting Academy delivers this online short learning program course. This course is divided into 7 modules. In this way, you can maintain a work-life balance while studying a just-in-time course to upskill yourself. The required effort is 4 to 8 hours per week.

Annelien Feldtmann CA(SA), Neuro-Coach and Cindie van Rooyen CA(SA), RA
Annelien is a Chartered Accountant with a wealth of private and public sector experience. She is a registered SAICA assessor, SAICA TPSC member as well as a qualified Neuro-Coach specializing in executive; career and business coaching.
Cindie is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor with more than nineteen (19) years of experience. She has advanced knowledge of GRAP, IFRS, MCS, National government, Provincial government, Local government, public and private sector entities, as well as public and private sector auditing.
Prerequisites / Admission Requirements
A good understanding of drafting financial statements.
Accreditation
This course is aligned to the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) International Education Standard (IES) 7 and is recognised for CPD / CPE by relevant accounting professional bodies which will give you 10 CPD / CPE hours.
Assessments
This course includes six formative assessments and one summative assessment to test your knowledge throughout the course. Learners must achieve all competencies of the course.
Certification
On successful completion (i.e., competence in all modules) of this course the learners will be awarded:
