Ethics are a fundamental element to every professional accountant's daily practice. Accountants are constantly challenged to reflect on the issues and matters they face and always ensure that their moral compass is calibrated and fine-tuned.
As part of building this ethical strength within the profession, professional accountants are required to undertake mandatory structured ethics training annually. This CPD requirement is enforced by all registered professional bodies recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), including SAICA, SAIPA, SAIBA, ACCA, CIMA, IAC and CSSA.
