Overview

As regulatory demands continue to grow across areas such as FICA, Beneficial Ownership, VAT, UIF and ESG reporting, many practitioners are finding it increasingly difficult to balance compliance obligations with delivering ethical, trusted client service.

In this insightful session, participants will explore how over-regulation contributes to compliance fatigue and discover how to redefine their professional role beyond that of a compliance enforcer. Viewed through a practical and ethical lens, the webinar explores strategies to streamline systems, uphold ethical integrity and rebuild trust and engagement in client relationships.

Join Caryn Maitland CA(SA) and Carmen Westermeyer CA(SA) on 25 November 2025, from 10h00 to 12h00, as they share actionable guidance on managing compliance-heavy workloads while maintaining professionalism, well-being and client confidence in an ever-evolving regulatory environment.

Learning objectives and competencies developed

Through an in-depth analysis of the latest regulatory developments, real-world case studies and practical examples, this webinar will equip you with the following competencies:

  • Diagnose compliance fatigue by identifying behavioural and operational warning signs of burnout in clients and teams.

  • Streamline financial, FICA, and BO processes while maintaining legal and ethical integrity.

  • Turn compliance into value through the use of automation, dashboards and education to empower clients instead of overwhelming them.

  • Balance service delivery with professional boundaries and mental well-being under regulatory pressure.

  • Redesign your service architecture by repositioning the practice from compliance provider to compliance coach, thereby strengthening client trust and engagement.
