The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs has promulgated the regulations applicable during the lockdown Alert Level 3.
The application period of the regulations is from 1 June 2020 and will continue for the duration of Alert Level 3, and are applicable to the whole of South Africa.
However, the regulations permit the various Ministers to implement additional measures in terms of the movement of persons, testing and tracking in areas that have been identified as hotspots. Please note that all Level 4 Regulations that have not been amended remain in full force and effect.
