SAICA: Code of Conduct 2023

The SAICA Code of Professional Conduct is the foundation of the profession and assists the profession in maintaining its reputation. SAICA therefore requests members and associates to remain up to date with the Code and to ensure compliance.
Members and associates are reminded of the revisions to the Code relating to the Definition of Engagement Team and Group Audits which became effective on 15 December 2023 and SAICA urges members and associates to familiarise themselves with these amendments.

Adherence to our Code of Conduct is crucial in the performance of our duties as chartered accountants.

SAICA Members and associates should be aware of the latest publications and guidance issued by regulators, such as the SAICA.

The 2023 SAICA Code applies to all SAICA Members and associates. A contravention of, or failure to comply with, any requirements in the 2023 SAICA Code may lead to disciplinary action.
