SAICA: CPD Compliance Declaration

Summary:
SAICA members are urged to remember to complete their CPD declaration on the Member Portal by 28 February 2025.
Article:
The annual CPD compliance declaration is now available on the SAICA Member Portal. The due date to complete and submit the declaration is Friday, 28 February 2025.
All SAICA members and associates are required to complete and submit an annual compliance declaration for the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, in accordance with SAICA's CPD policy. The declaration should take approximately five minutes to complete.
The steps to complete and submit the declaration has been set out in the email sent to members.
Late declarations or non-responsiveness constitute non-compliance with the SAICA by-laws, and members or associates will be referred to SAICA’s Legal and Discipline department.
Members or associates who are found to have declared dishonestly, will also be referred to the SAICA Legal and Discipline department, as this amounts to unethical behaviour and is in contravention of the SAICA Code of Professional Conduct.

Relevance to Auditors, Independent Reviewers & Accountants:
- Only relevant to SAICA members.
- Compliance with SAICA’s CPD policy is a requirement for continued membership.
- Late declarations or non-responsiveness constitute non-compliance with the SAICA by-laws, and members or associates will be referred to SAICA’s Legal and Discipline department.
