SAICA issued the new 2021 Training Regulations
- 22 January 2021
- Accounting
- South African Accounting Academy
SAICA releases new Training Regulations on an annual basis.
An accredited Training Office has definite responsibilities (as set out in accreditation criteria B4) concerning these Training Regulations, which include:
- The training officer must communicate and explain the current version of the Training Regulations to all role players in relation to their responsibilities; and
- All role players must apply the current version of the Training Regulations as they relate to their responsibilities.
In other words, everyone involved in the SAICA training programme must have a working knowledge of the latest Training Regulations. Communication of the latest Training Regulations should also be an important component in your new trainee induction programme.
The following documents are available on the SAICA website:
- SAICA Training Regulations 1 Jan 2021
- SAICA Training Regulations 1 Jan 2021 with Markup
- Explanatory Memorandum
All 3 of these documents are downloaded and made available to you if you attend the webinar on 29 January 2021, or 19 February 2021. This webinar will highlight the changes to the Training Regulations, and make new trainees and other relevant role players aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
